I AM LOOKING AT A LOT OF PARTY OPTIONS FOR MY CHILD. WHY SHOULD I CHOOSE FUN ZONE?
Fun Zone is dedicated to offering safe, fun and affordable parties to kids and adults of all ages. Fun Zone has hosted thousands of Birthday Parties and Special Events. Fun Zone provides a stress-free service, experience and lasting memories for people of all ages.
HOW EARLY CAN I ARRIVE FOR MY PARTY?
We will start setting up your Party 15 minutes before the scheduled start time, so feel free to arrive around that time. If you arrive any earlier, your room or table may not be ready due to other parties occurring before yours.
WHAT AM I ALLOWED TO BRING TO THE PARTY? WHAT DO I NEED TO BRING?
Feel free to bring a Birthday Cake and/or cupcakes, candles, presents, and birthday child!. We do not allow outside food, drinks or coolers.
CAN WE BRING OUR OWN PIZZA OR OUTSIDE FOOD?
We do not allow outside food, drinks or coolers; only your birthday cake and/or cupcakes are permitted with a booked party. We offer an extensive catering menu as well as a regular menu. Please place all food orders at least 4 days prior to your party date in order to ensure the food is brought out in a timely manner on the day of the party.
CAN I BRING OR DO I NEED TO BRING MY OWN DECORATIONS/PLATES/NAPKINS?
Yes, if you would like to bring your own decorations or themed decorations, plates, and napkins, you are more than welcome to do so! Just inform us of your choice at the time of booking. No confetti or table confetti decorations are allowed. There is a $75 clean up fee if you bring these types of decorations.
HOW DO I SEND INVITATIONS TO MY GUESTS?
The email that is sent to you after you book the party, along with the reservation information, also has a link to an evite (electronic invitation). You can click on this link and then follow the process of entering your guests email addresses and sending them the invitation electronically. In case your guests do not have an email address, and you want to send them a paper copy, then you may email the evite to yourself and take a print out, which could be used to make copies.
MAY I GET PAPER COPIES OF THE INVITATION/EVITE?
Unfortunately we do not have the printers, copiers or the resources to print out paper copies of the invitation/evite. You are sent an invitation (evite) link in your reservation confirmation email that you may use. In case your guests do not have an email address, and you want to send them a paper copy, then you may email the evite to yourself and take a print out, which could be used to make copies.
CAN WE BRING OUR OWN DRINKS?
Unfortunately we don’t allow any other outside food or drink at the park. However, your party package does include drinks based on the package chosen and if you need additional drinks we offer soda, juices, Gatorade, milk, as well as beer and wine at Fun Zone. We also have water fountains.
WHAT IS YOUR CANCELLATION POLICY?

CANCELLATION POLICY Birthday Parties & Team Events: There is a $25 cancellation fee. If you cancel the party with less than a 7 DAY notice, we will work with you to find another date and time to host your party or you will forfeit the full deposit. If you choose to reschedule your party and cancel at a later date you will forfeit the full deposit. You are given a choice to reschedule a party one time without any penalty. Deposits are applied to the remaining balance at the end of the party.
Special Events: a 50% non-refundable deposit is required to book a special event. If you cancel your event you will forfeit the full deposit.

Weather: If acts of God or Weather cause the facility to close, your party will be re-scheduled. No refunds will be given due to weather or acts of God.

IS THERE A CHARGE FOR ADULTS TO ATTEND A BIRTHDAY PARTY?
There is no charge for adults to attend a birthday party. However we only guarantee seating for the children that are part of the birthday party package. We welcome adults and they are free to find seating in our lounge, restaurant or open party seating area.
CAN WE ORDER FOOD FOR THE ADULTS?
Yes you may definitely order food for the adults attending a birthday party from our catering menu or regular menu. This will be added on to the birthday party package. We have various buffet options available for larger parties. Please inquire with a manager or send us an email at party@funzonechicago.com for further information about our catering menu.
DO WE GET A PARTY HOST WITH A PARTY PACKAGE?
Yes, you will have a Party Host that will take care of everything you need. They will do their best to assist you with all your party needs.
IS GRATUITY INCLUDED IN A BIRTHDAY PARTY OR SHOULD I TIP THE PARTY HOST?
Yes a gratuity is added on to your final bill at checkout. You may add an additional gratuity at checkout if you would like to do so based on your experience, satisfaction and exceptional services received.
WHERE CAN I GET THE WAIVERS?

We recommend that parents sign waivers for their children on our website in advance so that it will automatically be in our system when they arrive. Every customer wishing to participate in our attractions is required to sign a waiver. Waivers only need to be signed once per year.

DO I NEED TO CALL BACK TO GIVE YOU MY FOOD ORDER AND FINAL HEAD COUNT? WHEN DO YOU NEED THAT INFO BY?
No need to call us! Just email us your food order by replying to all to the reservation confirmation email that you received after booking your party. We update your party with whatever you need and email you back a confirmation reflecting the changes. All party changes, including food orders, must be placed at least 4 days prior to the day of your party. We do not allow outside food, drinks or coolers besides your birthday cake and/or cupcakes.
CAN YOU PENCIL ME IN AND HOLD THAT PARTY SPOT SO I CAN RUN THE INFO OVER WITH MY SPOUSE AND GIVE YOU A CALL BACK TO GIVE YOU THE DEPOSIT?
Unfortunately we cannot pencil anyone in because we are required to have a 25% deposit down to hold the spot. However as soon as you are ready to book, you can go online and book your party any time by clicking the BOOK A PARTY link! Alternatively you can also email us at party@funzonechicago.com to book your party.
WHAT IS THE DEPOSIT AMOUNT?
The deposit amount is 25% of the base price. The deposit is applied to the final bill at checkout at the end of your party.
MY CHILD IS GLUTEN INTOLERANT AND/OR ALLERGIC TO CERTAIN FOODS. DO YOU MAKE AN EXCEPTION FOR FOOD IF WE BRING IN HIS/HER SPECIAL STUFF?
Yes, if your child has special needs, please let us know upon booking your party. If you prefer to bring gluten free or special food only for the child in question we will work with you. Please speak to a manager for further details.
DO YOU DO PARTIES ON WEEKDAYS?

DO YOU HOST AND/OR ACCOMMODATE BIRTHDAY PARTIES FOR SPECIAL NEEDS KIDS?
We do our best to host and accommodate parties for special needs kids. We recommend having a party for special needs kids during the weekdays in order to better accommodate and service their needs.
DO YOU HOST ADULT BIRTHDAY PARTIES?
We can create an adult birthday party package based on your needs. We have several exciting attractions geared towards adults such as our two level 4500 sq.ft Laser Tag arena, our very popular Virtual Reality Hologate game, our always fun Spin Zone Bumper Cars, our thrilling 7D XD Theater as well as several arcade games. We have a bar menu to choose from for adult beverages. Please inquire with a manager or send us an email at party@funzonechicago.com for further information about our bar menu.
I WOULD LIKE TO HOST A PARTY FOR OVER 100 PEOPLE. DO YOU HAVE SPACE TO ACCOMMODATE A PARTY OF THAT SIZE?
We can accommodate parties of up to 125 people in our semi private party area. We can decorate and theme out the space per your needs, be it a birthday party (adult or kid), bar mitzvah, holiday party, or any kind of celebration that you would like.
